bye bye 2006 & helo 2007....

hmm....Is this time of the year again whereby everyone starts to plan for the coming new year, the new year's eve celebration & wrapping up whatever still KIV for the year....including myself too started transferring those important notes from old diary to new diary & clearing things a bit here & there.

Sad to letting go 2006 coz it has been a great year but cant wait to see what God has paved for me in 2007. Hmm....i probably will do more travelling next year regardless locally or overseas. (hehe...many of my friends left for UK, Canada, Taiwan, China, Australia & NZ...it gave me more excuses to travel...hahaha...that's also if my pocket money & leaves are sufficient..)

Some achievements in 2006 that i had... (it may not sound as spectacular like others, but i'm happy that i've done it..)
i) Travelling - Kuching, Hong Kong & Japan ( it was a good experience for me to see Hong Kong & Japan....)
ii) Job - found a better place to be at & with better pay of course...haha
iii) Singing with the choirs for Christmas eve in my church....
iv) did a little bit of running here & there...in return, i lost some weights...hehehe...

For 2007 wish list?? haha....too many...i cant be greedy though....have to see what God allows me to do....just put it this way, His will is my will....i'm sure my dearest Lord will provide enough not only for me, is also for those dearest to me. I just have to pray & trust in Him...of course also a little effort from myself to makes everything in place lo...rite? ;p

Honestly, I really hope 2007 will be better for everyone (including those outside this little world of mine)....sometimes really wonder what has gone wrong when natural disaster, robbery, poverty, killing & raping, political wars & conflicts are happening more & more in every parts of the world....is that the sign of end of the world is near??? I wonder.....

Coughing, Coughing & more Coughing....

Hmm....started off with a bad morning today.....havent been sleeping well for the past few nights due to coughing....& today happened to be the worst....tonnes of phlegm throwing out from my throat & hymming sound when i breathe...worst still coughing like when an old junk truck trying to get the engine started in a winter morning.

I bet i'm not the only one down with flu & coughing.....during last weekend i've already been told that Alden, Han, Shirley & Cherie also down with the same sickness i've....what a good christmas gift we all get...haha...i wonder how they cope with it. For me, i just hate it whenever i get these two sickness....i remember i had it also towards the end of last year & had to be in the clinic everyday to inhale a gas form of medicine for about a week. (gosh! it cost me alot man....thank God that i can claim from the company)

Well, i guess i just have to stay away from ICY COOL drinks & Ice cream despite if it is a hot day....atleast until i recover....it will be nice if anyone could pray for few of us for speedy recovery...thanks!

Michael Wong (光良)

He did it again! I'm sure many have heard his latest song - "I am who I am"...I bet it will be another prize winning for him. I immediatly fall for this song when I first heard him sang during his concert back in September this year in Bukit Jalil.

haha...As for my friend Shirley so addicted to Jay Chow's song so much...myself pula, Michael Wong & Victor are both I like most for local singers. Michael's talent in composing touching/meaningful love songs & great skill in playing piano while Victor charm everyone with his voice & talent in plucking beautiful music with his guitar.

I remember the first time i met this duo 11years ago in Penang Hall, they sang their first hit -掌心 (Palm), then i started to follow their news, buying every of their new albums.....then the split...i would say, the split make them even better....

Among those songs written by Michael that i like most are, 約定 (Yue Ding / Commitment), 都是你 (Dou Shi Ni / It's You) and 擁抱我(Yong Bao Wo / Embrace Me), 勇氣 (Yong Qi / Courage), 我等你 (Wo Deng Ni / I'm Waiting For You), 戀 (Lian / Love), 童話 (tong huà/ Fairy Tale), 多心 (duo xin/oversensative), 有你在身旁 (You ni zhai shen pang/With you beside me), 想見你 ( xiang jiàn ni/Want to see you), 胡思亂想 (hú si luàn xiang/Thinking too much)....haha...& more....lazy to type liao.

My new work place & soon to be EX....haha

Hmm....i've just tendered another resignation letter yesterday after two weeks working in this current company and will be joining another company soon. Well,i've better offer & find that this place is not what i want to be after much consideration.Kind of bz with finding the right spot to get myself settling down for these few weeks, is quite tiring actually....once in a new company, everything have to start from scratch again...But i'm not complaining, changes is good! ;p

Anyway...my current company just shifted to new office, so we had a opening ceremony held last friday.. nothing spectacular though, just some photos to show how the place looks like & the people i'm working with...oya! apparently, Hann's Ex-colleague happened to be one of mine now. Hehe...what a coincidence! (sigh! always having problem when to use "-ce" or "-t" ....can someone tell me if i use it correctly this time????)

(The Gang....hehe...i was at the reception taking care of incoming guests when they took this photo)

(One of the top person in MPL Grp, S'pore....i was putting up the corsage for him before the ceremony starts..)

(good food.....from Mum's Place Restaurant)

(5kgs special made mocha chocolate cake by Bon Bon's Cafe....my favourite Cafe...hehe...for cake lovers, u should try that place..."advertisement time"...hehe)

(part of the office....some of the partitions has taken out during the opening)

I hope will have more to write for this coming festive season & new year to come. hehe...my updates are falling behind...another vacation will make it better i suppose?? haha..

Casper!! my puppy...

(Casper looks so small inside his basket....the toy he's holding is about 10cm x 5cm....so u can roughly imagine how tiny he is now....)

Yeap!!! I'm introducing my new puppy to u all...Was delivered to my door step last nite....very cute fella...the feeling was excited & yet a bit worry...coz i almost forgotten how to take care a puppy (i mean when it is very young)...have to teach him tricks, play with him & train him....

Ok...his name is Casper Ivan (initially was named Ivan in his birth cert), then i added in Casper when i got it. A Jack Russell, around 2mths old & has very good marking on his body.. playful & active. (haha...while typing this, he's actually sleeping on my tigh...)

well, yet to know what other skills he can do coz this is only the second day...will show u all more in near future.

Pao WoW.....

Have u ever craving for something till u keep thinking of it every morning? haha....guess wat? this was what i went through for the past few days....Well, I was watching this local TV programme called "Ho Chiak" last sunday where they were promoting Big Pao, Cha Siew Pao, Tau Sa Pao & few more other pao'S'....hehehe...they look so delicious man! while watching the show, i realized that has been awhile i've not tasted one of these pao...so i started looking for pao store the next morning....

Monday morning, driving along Old Klang Road heading towards Mid-Valley - 1st shop I passed by was not open...sigh! continue driving....2nd stall...no place to stop.....3rd stall....yaiks! again closed.... :(

Tuesday morning, again driving along the very same Road - i was late, no time to searching for them but still craving for one.....during lunch time, i finally found some paos at the coffee shop behind my office, but they doesnt look fresh!! aiya....again...tak jadi makan! >_<

This morning, i didnt put much hope for a pao liao....thinking i'll get it over the weekend.....hehe....mana tau! i saw one stall selling fresh Paos & there's ample space for me to stop the car & get it....yahoo!! not only i get to eat my favourite Cha siew pao, but it taste great too!! ^_^

Well, hapiness can be very simple.... a simple pao can make a person like me feel happy the whole day....i hope those around me too will have their simple way of happiness in life... hehe... i guess after some time when i look back to this blog, it will put a smile on my face or maybe rather childish...hahaha...but dont care la...as long as one is happy.

Pet Shop

Since today is a public holiday..I took a walk in the morning near Plaza OUG & passed by this Pet Shop. There were so many cute puppies inside ranging from RM680 for a Chiwawa to RM3250 for a Chao Chao. I went in & spent some time looking at them. Hmm.... I was so tempted to get this poodle in teakwood brown, but it was too expensive for me now. (RM 1500 leh! siao!) She's so adorable & playful..Anyway,instead of asking for a discount, I just wave at that little puppy & left the shop.

Well, u must be wondering why I brought this up in my blog....Actually, I lost my dog "Hoppie" of 5½ yrs few weeks back.Initially I was furious & sad when it happened, was trying to figure out who's the "DEVIL" that took her away from me while I was asleep.... After some thought, maybe this is God's will le...hope she's in good care now.

hmm...Ya...I'm looking for a new puppy now. One that I can keep for long term like Hoppie... (anyone can get me a cute puppy????) hehehe....

Mooncake or Mid Autumn Festival

Is the time of the year for Mid-Autumn Festival....This year I did it at Pooi Fern & Gary's house. Had a simply & nice dinner, some fruits & agar-agar. Well, initially thought that can see the moon nearer at Pooi Fern's baucony...sigh! mana tau haze filling in the air & hide the shy moon away from us.... (blame who for the hazy atmosphere?????)

This is the photo taken from last year mid-autumn festival in Bukit Jalil....just a small imbas kembali since i dont have the photos for this year. These lanterns are hung on the trees by few of us...nice ya?! Below is the group photo after we ate mooncake & hung up all those lanterns....

As we getting older, the chances of playing with lanterns are getting lesser....maybe because one doesnt look cool holding it, or maybe we are too bz with life, or too old for this or regardless of any other reasons...think about it, when was the last time u hold a lantern?? pause a moment, imbas kembali, spend this little time of yours & enjoy this special occation... (one of the important festival for Chinese in a year....)

Picking Up & Sending Off.....

Picking up & expecting the return of a person from airport has always been a joyous moment.Especially after a long awaiting period to meet again..But in contrary, Sending off & letting go of a person to airport makes your heart sank a thousands yard deep into the sea because you know it takes a long long time till both meet again.

I've just gone through the second scenario today.....where I had to see a friend (Alden) closest to me left to do his MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development in Cambridge....Though not the 1st time, but the sadness still very much felt...

hmmm....Hope he will have a safe & smooth flight.

God's love!!!

Never under estimate the power of prayer… As the Bible says, “Ask, and it shall be given you: seek, and you shall find: knock, and it shall be opened to you” (Matthew 7: 7)… I’m truly believed in it….do you?

This verse has always inspired me in believing that I can overcome anything with God’s presence….I remember vividly, this verse was introduced to me some time back when I was still a non-believer of God by an “angel” whom sent by God that later brought me to Christ. Back then, I wasn’t sure what it really means, just knowing that after reading that verse I was touched.

Years when by, I started to develop the relationship with God and eventually got baptized. Prayer became my daily routine. (hmm…technically everything I pray for, He listen and answered….) Hehe…of course have to be sincere lo….by the end of the day, I just want to thank Him for answered all my prayers and those peoples around me….thank Him for walking side by side with me and others…thank Him for his selfless love for everyone.

* PS : hehe….I know many of you are from different religious or non-believer….I’m not trying to pull anyone into Christianity…I’m just saying that….regardless which religion you are in, you know there’s a Common God for everyone to look for… ^_^ Trust Him and love the peoples around you like how He loves you… God Bless!!

Warm Wishes!!!

Is nice to have Alden back for a week long holiday before he venture again to UK. I’m happy to say that as a friend, I’m proud to see the achievement he has made over this year of 2006. Two prestigious scholarships in a year! Gosh! (hahaha….bet many will hate u for this…Nah! Joking…u earned it with all the hard work u have gone through before this..) Alden! Congratulation! Hope u continue to excel when u in Cambridge.

Hmm… I wonder what’s so good bout UK this year…or more precisely, overseas….Sob! Sob! In my “List of friends”, there are already four included Alden that left or leaving for good….does that mean not good staying behind? Well, not exactly…there are still lots to do here … ;p

Well, this post is specially dedicated to my friends that are in overseas & about to leave…Those still here with me, that doesn’t mean that your friendship doesn’t count lo! Hehe…

1) Huey Ling – Gal, I really miss u here…do your best in your study,k.. Do keep in touch always. U know I will visit u soon…hehe.

2) Yu Xin – Cha Bo! Be a good wife in Beijing,k….

3) Kek Yee – hmm….glad that u finally gotten your PR status in Canada & be with your beautiful wife…(haha….I might stop over to your place when I pay a visit Huey Ling….u just get ready your guest room ya!)

4) Alden – hehe.....wrote on the 1st paragraph….just make everyone of us proud,k. Be my tour guide again if I ever visit u? ;p

Waoh! Come to think of it…. I really have to save money for trips…or better still…look for a better pay job that can send me for business trip to the places where my friends are…. *wink*

Train can be attractive & beautiful.....

I've came across these few trains when I was in Japan...The railway company really took effort to paint these trains according to the theme of those famous attractions where the trains are scheduled to....it really impressed me alot....really makes one feel the excitement & enjoy the ride.

This train was going to Osaka Universal Studio (OUS)....on our way there, we stop by the station counter & ask which train to take for OUS....the operator smile & said to Alden, "dont worry, u wont missed the train, u will know when the right train comes.." We were puzzled at that time until the train arrived...."Ahhhhhhaaaa....no wonder" haha...

Another view of the train to OUS....

This one pula....caught it in Kyoto....nice ya? i like it...it shows the attractions of Kyoto.

hmmm....do i need to tell where's this place? look at the windows of the train....hehehehehe......"M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E!!!!"

Finally.....Classic man! ah...this was not in my trip...Alden took this while on his way to Hokkaido early this week.... but since I've already posted this up....i think i should promote my favourite "doraemon" train to u all.....hahaha...

Magical World of Disney....

Disneyland has always been a dream place to visit by many of us. I’ve never thought that I get to visit one in Japan.
Tokyo Disneyland is located in Chiba side by side with Tokyo Disneysea. The journey to the magical world started from the minute I step out from Malhama station. One will not imagine the Q for buying the tickets can take so long during weekdays…sigh! I can’t imagine if it is weekend.
Upon entering the main entrance, we started our journey from World Bazaar, Adventureland, Westernland, Critter Country, Fantasyland, Toontown before we concludes the day with Tomorrowland. Among them all, I like most are Fantasyland & Toontown.... (hmm...kinda lost in my writting...doesnt really tell how exciting it was...well, ahhemm....hehe...i'm not good in writting la....the more i write, more mistakes i'll make...hehe) just
check these photos,k...

(Malhama Station....)

(With 11000Yen, we got these stuff...two entrance tickets, two guide books & ...the receipt! Sigh! this is expensive!!! ..BUT! BUT! worth paying man!!!)

(Disney set lunch with cute mickey's wrapper & paper cup! Dont mention about the food, the presentation itself already tempt me from buying it...hahaha..)

(One of the piggy out of three in the family....hey! not my family,k!!! ;p )

(trying to act cute! haha...it was a hot hot day in summer!!!!luckily i dont fancy makeups..otherwise, sure melt!!! )

Thinking of my blog is extremely outdated, yet very lazy to put my fingers into work on typing. Anyway, photos are the best way to show & tell what a person did. So guys, let me show u some of the photos i took during the two weeks break in the land of the rising sun to visit my friend Tan Sri Alden Yap...hehe ;p

My first breakfast in Narita City, Japan...Sigh! so expensive! (hehe...that was 1st impression i had...later to know, is normal la what i've paid...)

This pula...We passed by this UFO catcher infront of a shop in Kyoto, i saw this "Pooh" was half hanging at the edge of the hole awaiting for someone to claim it...being a soft toys lover, i digged out 200yen to get Alden to catch for me...(i never have luck for all these game stuff, so get the expert to do it instead)...haha.....After three attempt, It was Tan Sri's effort of winning this Pooh Bear...(limited edition oh!) I got so excited & decided to take a picture there and then...the guy standing behind me in the picture is the staff working there...haha..like prize giving ya?! ;p

There's only one way to discribe the day i spent in Disneyland...."Magical"....i was like a little girl the minute i passed through the main entrance of Disneyland. Many familiar cartoons characters were there waiting for everyone to take pictures & signing autograph....hmm...better not write too much for now...coz this is just a preview. i'll put a seperate blog on Disneyland itself later.

Till then......

hmmm....has been quite awhile i've not posted anything in my blog....reason? too bz with my work for the past two weeks...."PLUS" the killing hot weather that caused unbearable sorethroat & slight fever makes me feel even "LOOOWWWWWW" today...what's more i gotten myself a cut on my knee accidentally.....& the durian trip cancelled news came as well.

it was nearly 7pm, still struggling to finish my work...suddenly told myself..."what the heck! go home...i wont be able to finish the work today anyway" that so it was...i came home...sat infront of my TV & prepared a healthy yet simple dinner for myself... ;p

well....not all bad things came to me actually....atleast there's one that really makes me excited & laugh.....haha. My friend - Tan Sri Alden Yap sent me a photo of a gigantic "DORAEMON" which he has taken some days back in Japan.... (haha..those who knows me knew that whenever i sees Doraemon regardless in any form...i'll start jumping up & down with excitement...Sigh! still sounded like a small kid....) hmm...the point is...that this photo he sent now turned into the wallpaper of my PC desktop....hey, Tan Sri....a big thank you.
