These are some photos taken since i started using my panasonic camera...i hope through these photos i'll relate some of the untold stories.

I took this while I was waiting for train back to Taipei after a half day tour in JiuFen. According to a girl whose selling bento set at the station, many couples take their wedding photos here coz this place give kind of Nostalgia feeling.

I was passing by this petrol station in Taiwan...i cant believed my eyes..."WHAT?!! more that RM3 per lit". I must have say, i'm glad that what i'm paying now still far below this price...Well, no for long i guess. (after election??? I wonder)

Number plate for one of the train station up in Alishan.

The pics shown above & below this text was taken during the sunrise up at the summit of Alishan. Does Heaven look like this???? ^_^

The falling leave....while walking along the trail through the Shermuh Forest, i saw this leave falling right infront of me, instantly i snapped this photo.

Winter in Taiwan is also a good time to taste some of their local fruits. I found this cute pear shape tomato at the fruit stall in Hualien.
Below are some photos taken in Hualien as well...truely, Hualien is a very beautiful place...including Tarako National Park, one must not missed if ever visit Taiwan.

This is Hugo, Eric & Chin Chin's pet dog...taken during CNY. Its such an adorable dog & likes to eat mandarin oranges....haha.

Make a quick guess...what's this?? ^_^ is a floor mat made out of small pieces of cloth...My paternal grandmother made it specially to all the grandchildren during CNY. I like her handwork, neat, fine & vibrant in colors.

This kitty was hidding underneath the table waited for leftover. Took this pic last week during Chilled out session with my colleagues at this famous look out place in Ulu Langat. The food are just ok, but it has the best night view of Kuala Lumpur so far. Check out the photos below.

Da Vinci Code alike???

I was surprised to see this article below in one of the online petition website. Slowly Koreans are claiming one after another the Chinese Cultures. Where's the originality?? Who has the rightful say about where the cultures belong?? What will the impact be in the History of humankind?? I wonder..

Stop Helping South Korean Robbing Chinese Traditional Culture Heritage

To: United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)

For many years, the art of fengshui has been seen as an indispensable part of Chinese traditional culture. But recently, this long standing heritage was challenged when South Korea applied to list the art as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage under its name.

South Korea succeeded in adding the Dragon Boat Festival, a celebration used to commemorate Qu Yuan, a Chinese patriot in olden times, onto the World Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2005. And now the Koreans are likely to win again. Nothing has hinted that the application will fail as the process is backed by all Korean nationals, from the country's president to the UN general-secretary.

Contrary to South Korea's zeal for applying fengshui, Chinese government still deem the art as a superstitious method to judge good or ill luck and refuse to issue official certificates to those engaged in the fengshui industry. The art of fengshui failed to be mentioned in the shortlist, which includes 35 cultural arts, that China has drawn up in preparation for next years World Intangible Cultural Heritage nomination procedure.

As Chinese, we are very disappointed with the zero reaction from the Chinese government toward the urgent situation. On the other hand, we are trying to do whatever we can to avoid this "cultural robbery" happening. We are very happy to share our cultures with everyone, it's the wealth of the whole world. However we think it's extremely disgraceful attempt on robbing it.

We appreciate it very much for UNESCO protecting and respecting the cultural heritage of humanity, however, we don't think accepting the application of South Korea listing fengshui under its name would be helpful for protecting the human cultural heritage. It would only deliver a wrong message to the world that robber could steal others heritage without punishment. We hope UNESCO would investigate the case carefully. History will not change just because one list, but truth and justice should be told to everyone.

Taiwan - Custom Made Shoes

It has been almost two months after my trip, yet i still have many untold stories & photos to post it up my blog. Since today is an off day, i decided to organize & post it up as much possible.

Photos taken below is from a shoemaker's shop located 45mins away from Taipei - The old city of Jiu Fen. I've came across custom shoemaker's whenever i travel but never intend to get one for myself. (hehe..thinking it must be expensive) Somehow this shop caught my attention & decided to get one pair....maybe it was the designs, or the pretty & hardworking shoemaker...hmm...

This pretty lady putting her best on my shoe.

Tah dah!! These are mine..cost me only RM 39..suits well with Yukata! Sigh! which i dont have though...

They even make little shoe keychains as souveniors..about RM2 each.
