hmmm....has been quite awhile i've not posted anything in my blog....reason? too bz with my work for the past two weeks...."PLUS" the killing hot weather that caused unbearable sorethroat & slight fever makes me feel even "LOOOWWWWWW" today...what's more i gotten myself a cut on my knee accidentally.....& the durian trip cancelled news came as well.

it was nearly 7pm, still struggling to finish my work...suddenly told myself..."what the heck! go home...i wont be able to finish the work today anyway" that so it was...i came home...sat infront of my TV & prepared a healthy yet simple dinner for myself... ;p

well....not all bad things came to me actually....atleast there's one that really makes me excited & laugh.....haha. My friend - Tan Sri Alden Yap sent me a photo of a gigantic "DORAEMON" which he has taken some days back in Japan.... (haha..those who knows me knew that whenever i sees Doraemon regardless in any form...i'll start jumping up & down with excitement...Sigh! still sounded like a small kid....) hmm...the point is...that this photo he sent now turned into the wallpaper of my PC desktop....hey, Tan Sri....a big thank you.

Hmm...when comes to trip...I'll never leave behind the idea of tasting those foods that are available at those places I go, regardless from little hawker stalls or fancy restaurants..western or oriental..Thus my story & photos about Hong Kong & Macau will not be complete if I dont post up the photos on the food that i've tried...haha..nyam nyam....

I accidentally left my new favourite book in the Hotel during my trip to Hong Kong.....Sigh! was upset when I 1st found out it was lost.....I only finished 1st half of the book.
Anyway, it was a nice & simple book to read.....name as "Kira-kira" by Cynthia Kadohata. To those of my friends that like reading, I'm recommending this book to you all....hehe

Here's a preview or synopsis of the book.......
Katie Takeshima is about to enter kindergarten in the 1950s, when her parents close their Oriental foods grocery store in Iowa and move to Chesterfield, Georgia to work in a chicken hatchery. Uncle Kutsuhisa helps them move into a small apartment complex where other Japanese families live, and they begin a long struggle toward saving money to purchase a house of their own. The working conditions are almost intolerable at the hatchery, and the Takeshima children experience prejudices at school, but the small community of Japanese families band together and support one another in their daily lives. Because Mr. and Mrs. Takeshima work double shifts, Katie and her younger brother, Sammy, are left in the care of their older sister Lynn. Katie believes that Lynn is a "genius" and listens as her sister encourages her to look beyond tomorrow. But there is no tomorrow for Lynn. When she is fourteen, and Katie ten, Lynn becomes ill with lymphoma and ultimately dies. At this point, the Takeshima family almost falls apart, but Katie remembers Lynn's special way of looking at life, and finds a way to show her parents that there is always hope and something glittering - kira-kira in their future.

By the way....in the book says "kira-kira" means glittering in japanese.Happy Reading guys & girls.... ^_^

My trip to Macau & Hong Kong was superb! Especially going with 11 of my friends (though there are other 6 of them cant make it last minutes). This was my 1st trip to that part of the world. I was excited throughout the trip..hehe

Personally, I like Macau more than Hong Kong...maybe because i get to see many heritage buildings like churches, old mansion & etc. On the way up to "The Ruin of St Paul" was an exciting experience for me....passing by those small lanes which occupied by those local food shops & houses, and waoh! suddently at the end of the road there stand the beautiful & remaining of St Paul chuch. I was really overwhelmed by it. Lucky to have these bunch of caring friends...they gave me ample time to see every corner of the place & short prayer in the underground room where the successors of the church were laid.

Whereas in Hong Kong, the place that i remember most is the night scene at "Arena of Stars" overseeing the Victoria Harbour. They rhythmic lightings (like musical fountain...just that is using lighting effects) was really good, from far can see the highrise buildings lighted up one by one. Besides that, i get to see those famous celebrities palm prints along the walk way...haha...i managed to find "Lei Siu Loong" name oh!

Well, it was really a memorable trip...if given a chance again in future...i dont mind going again...of course..hope my friends will follow too...haha ;p *wink wink*

hmm...today i learned balloon art from a friend of mine...interesting art that takes alot of imagination & creativity.

hehe....it was funny to see a bunch of grown up standing together at the training room watching & learning the way to twist & turn & form the cute figures...i dont know about what others have in their mind when learning it...but for myself...i was very excited because i like both art & cute stuff.

I went to S & M Shopping Centre last sunday for the last time before it closed down. Yen & I went to every ends & corners of the building to check out if there's any good buy. It was quite boring at 1st because most of the shops on the few levels above already emptied.
We went further down to the basement where they sell VCD's & DVD's & i found this archives of anime of studio ghibli... a series of japanese cartoons. Worth the price, really.

Ever heard bout this song "You in me" by Juwita Suwito???? i'm sitting infront of my PC listening to it now....really inspiring....
There's this part of the lyrics that i really like alot...."When i know i can look at the bright side & find the creator.....I just need to spend one moment with you...somehow is a brand new world that i'm passing through....u lift me high & u let me see.....over the world that surrounded me....dont need to prove myself...just to show & tell...is You in me"

hmm...i've been reading lots of good write up in few of my good friends...some amazing, some funny, some touchy & etc.... it's really so much fun to see how everyone tell their stories & daily life in their own way...
Ha! funny enough...when come to writing for my own blog...i'm totally "BLANK" & doesnt know how to write!!

hehe...i think if this can write in other dialect like cantonese....will be much easier for me la!! Atleast i can joke in my writing!! Gosh! i wish Totoro's owner & silver bullet owner can help me out on this...hehe..so that i can write more in future to come. ;p
