The Real Action...haha..

A group of 37 people left Wisma IJM around 715am last sunday & reached Gua Tempurung around 10am. After a short briefing, we started groping in the dark around 1050am...hehe..Our completion time was 5hrs instead of our estimated time 3.50hrs. Anyway, in the whole event, some freak out, some gotten cuts & bruises, some enjoyed till the end of trip, some tired & all sorts of funny things happened...including myself & 15 others lost contact from our group. I guess pics speak more than words here....

so, share some photos with u all from my trip to Gua Tempurung...

The IJM Gang before entering the cave....all looks so clean....hehehe....wait till u see more....scroll down please.

Thinking this is hard? Is just the beginning... ;p

I dont have a picture for myself on this part of the route, so just take Chai's picture instead. In between this small hole laid a old tree trunk (all of us was wondering how does this trunk came here..coz this hole is far inside the cave) and muddy. We have to bend down & crawl in order to cross over.

From Left to Right : Chai, Christine, myself & Stephanie

Half time : I'm posting a victory sign after half way through the journey...everyone resting before continue walking. behind the scene - the girl in yellow (Susan), the girl in pink pants & blue shirt (Christine), the couple standing on my right (William & his wife..cute & caring couple)

Me : On a freaking dangerous yet exciting mud slide which consist of two parts : 1st Pic - Lesser gradiant slope, 2nd Pic - I'm done with the 2nd slope (wonder how steep?? 45degress...) Before we started sliding, the tour guide gave us briefing about how dangerous it is about this slope if we dont follow the steps correctly..one may end up with broken legs & arms, worst cases can cause one become paralyze.

Susan - Squeezing her way into a hole of estimated size 500mm x 900mm...the pic below is where the hole leads to...

Final pic : the stream runs through this hole, the height barely 500mm...so it doesnt give much space for one to breath freely when crawling through it. (Note: not to do this during rainy day, it can be dangerous.)

Magnificent Gua Tempurung...Perak Mali!

I didnt think much about this trip after I registered myself for it a month ago. Now, the day to Gua Tempurung is approaching, i've mixed feeling about it... Excited? (ohh...yes!) Scare? (extremely phobia of dark & wet place!!) worry?? (haha...ya, dono if my big belly tummy & butt can squeeze between the holes inside the cave)

Here's the map, it has a few route depending if u want a dry trip or wet trip....wet trip?? ya, one will need to submerge into the water in certain part of the cave in order to cross some obstacles. My fellow colleagues & i will be taking the wet trip. Estimated time to finish is about 4hrs, hope i'll survive & get out from there without much difficulty..hehe.

According to those who have been to this place, we are advice to bring along sandal with strap, torchlight, extra clothings & waterproof bag to keep our stuff from getting wet..wearing my sportshoe for it? will think twice....worrying that my only pair of sport shoe will go out of shape when the trip is over. (ahha! dono if my safety shoe is practical for this...hahaha)

A Handful of Activities coming my way...

Hmm…..despite there’s lots of fun coming my way, but I felt the loneliness at the same time. I guess this is what we say….”Human, always not satisfy with what we have.”

Anyway, these are what I’ve scribbled onto my diary….

March
a)– IJM Company Dinner, 7pm, Sunway Resort
b) – KL run
c) – Farewell Dinner for my colleague (aii…a new found fren, but resigned!)
d) – Company Expedition to Gua Tempurung

April
a) – April Fool Day – Celebrating Shirley’s Birthday
b) – Jazz Concert, tickets are complimentary by Eve’s company
c)- Easter Sunday

May
a)– Company Expedition to Legendary Gunung Ledang

July
a) – Sunday Matinee – The King & I Musical by broadway musical (just saw the ad in Star Paper this morning, planning to watch it….hehe…God heard my complaint of not getting a good musical to watch.. *tah dah* He answered….thanks God!)

Oct
Trip – pending (will see what MATTA fair can offer)

Dec
Trip – pending (same as above, but also depends if the gang is going or not.)

Although I’ve all these plans, I’ll not doubt that somewhere, somehow there will be some hiccups along the way…just have to take it easy & count the blessing which God’s provide lor….

PS : Seems like only talking about enjoy, enjoy & enjoy only! u might think what else i can do other that enjoy?? haha...I guess is better to share the fun to u all rather than telling u all what worries & problems i'm facing & what's more about talking on my routine "home-work-home" stories. right?? ;p

See What I found...Interesting! ^_^

I was checking out Istana Budaya website to see if any upcoming event. After much disappointment of not able to get myself a good musical to watch, i decided to checkout the broadway musical website instead to see the latest production they have.

While scrolling down the list, I found this....hahaha...a musical titled "Irene"... (perasannya)...Apparently this musical won two awards in year 1973 - Tony Award & Theater World Award...Wow! now bad ya.

The sypnosis : A classic "Cinderella" story. Irene, a nobody, end up in a charity ball & moves up in society when an attendee places her as the niece of Ireland's Lady O'Dare. When her identity is revealed, she learns who loves her for who she really is & who for what they thought she was.
Anyway, I think the culture of going for Musical play in Malaysia still progressing slow. If one really keen to watch a good production, the nearest source can only be in Singapore or Hong Kong. Sad to say that but is true.
For example, "Phantom of the Opera" has been playing in Singapore almost yearly, infact there's forthcoming play next month. But still, no sign of coming to Malaysia. Perhaps is our local stage is not big enough to creat the effect on the show? Or maybe we dont have the crowd that passion for it? I wonder....

Another Great Production Buatan Malaysia - "Melodi"

Since young I've always admire the talent & vocal of Sheila Majid. Whenever i hear her songs play on the radio, i'll tend to get excited about it, especially the most beautiful song she sang "Lagenda" (hmm...maybe to some of u it may not be the best song of hers, but for me "Legenda" is best)

Lately, Sheila & a new born singer - Lin Yu Zhong (林宇中) came out with a new song titled "Melodi". It was written by Yu Zhong & translated into partial malay by Sheila to form a duet. The voices, the lyrics are superb. You see, that's the beauty of being a Malaysian....the Cultures, multi-races & religious often creat great things among us...Songs production is a very good example here.

Two different persons from different background walk together : Sheila & Yu Zhong during recording session - Gosh! Sheila is as beautiful & glamorous as usual eventhough she's in her 7mths pregnancy...and Yu Zhong, he is currently based in Taiwan & Malaysia, recently released his 2nd Album. He's a song writter & a composer.

Two of them singing the song together during the 50years Merdeka Celebration on 23/02/07 at Bukit Bintang.

Here's the lyric of this meaningful & beautiful song - 100% buatan Malaysia!!

Kau melodi yang indah
Menusuki jiwa
TanpamuHidupku tak bermakna
多么实在的感觉
望着你的脸这一刻
我到了被人遗忘的永远
Pertemuan yang tanpa diduga
像迷路的人找到回家的路线
Engkau bak lagu dan aku bagai irama
Bersatu kita mewarnai hidup bersama
Tanpamu hilanglah nadi kita berdua
Menderita tiada haluan
窝在握心里最动听的melodi
Kau melodi yang indah
Menusuki jiwa
TanpamuHidupku tak bermakna
多么实在的感觉
望着你的脸这一刻
我到了被人遗忘的永远
Pertemuan yang tanpa diduga
像迷路的人找到回家的路线
Engkau bak lagu dan aku bagai irama
Bersatu kita mewarnai hidup bersama
Tanpamu hilanglah nadi kita berdua
Menderita tiada haluan
窝在握心里最动听的melodi
Engkau bak lagu dan aku bagai irama
Bersatu kita mewarnai hidup bersama
Tanpamu hilanglah nadi kita berdua
Menderita tiada haluan
窝在握心里最动听的melodi
Menderita tiada haluan
窝在握心里最动听的melodi

Blood Sugar Level Went Low..

I was nearly blackout during my project coordination meeting yesterday morning, luckily recovered after i sat down quietly for a few minutes.. was thinking maybe i didnt have enough for breakfast & probably hungry...so took a heavy lunch after that....i was okie by then.

This morning when i got up from bed to get ready for work, i realised that i could stand up properly & head was spinning like mad. Instead of forcing myself to drive all the way back to office, i called my boss so that i could get a day off from work...

I slept through till about 9am & went to the clinic nearby. At first the doctor thought that i had food poisoning or dengue....but after a detailed check up & questioning only to find out that my blood sugar level went slightly below normal level....

I kena lectured my the doctor...why???? hahaha....i avoid eating sweet stuff like cakes, cokkies, sweets, beverage thinking of eat less of these would prevent me from gaining weight after the heavy makan session throughout the CNY....mana tau! i guess i was over doing it.... *blak* (hey, dont get me wrong, i take my 3meals properly without fail,k! i just cut down sugar!)

Anyway, the doctor didnt give me any medicine, just some suppliments & asked me to drink more glucose based drink like 100plus to bring my sugar level back to normal...hehe...i guess i've learn by mistake this time, will be more careful next time when come to choosing the right food.
